Miguel: Wild Heart Let Loose in Los Angeles

DSC_5749With a wild heart and a fierce passion, Miguel, the acclaimed Grammy winning singer and rising Hip Hop artist, performed or rather, made musical love to a select few at the Sonos Studio in Los Angeles.

Monday night was filled with buzz and excitement as fans lined up outside the small venue — maximum capacity reaches just 250 people — to see the high rising “Wildheart” artist. The sultry and passionate singer, accompanied by his band, sung, danced and serenaded an invite-only crowd in the snug and alluring venue.

Miguel’s performance, like his single “Coffee,” was steamy, rich and at times a little bitter for the swooning women who could only see, not touch the chiseled performer. DSC_5623In the mix of a short, but lively performance Miguel also found time to deliver a string of heartfelt and inspiring pep talks. His main message of the night — celebrate your differences and never be afraid to love who you are.

“Life is beautiful,” said Miguel after closing the show with his single “Adorn.” “So stay well. Live your passion. Live your truth.”

Hailing from San Pedro, California, Miguel felt right at home in the heart of Los Angeles. He eagerly embraced fans into his family of Angelinos, giving praise to various cities, races and nationalities that make up his eclectic hometown.

Based off of Monday’s performance, it’s easy to see why the young singer has gained so much popularity throughout the years. He is a ferocious, tender and truly passionate performer with all the swagger of a Hip Hop artist and the tenacity of a true Rock ‘n’ Roll legend. Not to mention his voice comes piercing through with almost no effort at all — big props to Sonos for having brilliant acoustics.

Miguel’s performance was just one of many free concerts set up by Sonos Studio located on La Brea Avenue, a charming and lively block in L.A. Future shows this month include Allen Stone on Monday July 27.

Currently, Miguel is on tour for his new album, “Wildheart,” and will be back in Southern California late August and early September.
